Jesse joined the attorneys at Garrett Friday & Garner after graduating law school in 2013. Jesse calls Oxford home since enrolling in the University of Mississippi School of Law and is a native of Jackson, Mississippi.
Jesse is a graduate of Mississippi State University having earned his B. A. history as well as his Masters Degree in history. After completing his undergraduate studies he enrolled in the University of Mississippi School of Law While at student Jesse obtained his criminal law certificate, served on the Dean's Leadership Council and the Honor Council. He also participated in two cases which were pending before Mississippi Court of Appeals as a student intern. Prior to Graduation Jesse also interned with the District Attorney for the 13th Circuit Court District of Mississippi.
Jesse focuses his practice at Garrett, Friday & Garner on Criminal Defense / Post Conviction Relief and assisting clients with workers compensation and social security disability claims. However, his passion is appellate work. Jesse is honored to serve on the board of directors of Oxford Sav-a-Life. Jesse is an active member of First Baptist Church of Oxford where in sings in the choir.
